- Experience: Prior optometry experience preferred, especially in correctional or federal settings

What You’ll Do:
- Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments for correctional facility inmates
- Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, and manage ocular health conditions
- Document findings accurately in patient records
- Collaborate with facility staff and healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
- Adhere to correctional facility policies, safety, and confidentiality standards
- Maintain licensure and stay compliant with facility protocols
- Provide excellent patient service in a secure environment
What You Need:
Required:
- Licensed Optometrist credential in South Carolina
- Prior experience in optometry practice, ideally with correctional or federal populations
- Strong patient communication skills and adaptability
Preferred:
- Experience working in correctional or federal healthcare settings
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a challenging environment
