What You’ll Do

Provide comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments in correctional facilities
Diagnose and treat common eye conditions
Prescribe and fit corrective lenses
Document patient evaluations and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high standards of care
Comply with facility policies and safety protocols
Educate patients on eye health and wellness

What You Need

Required:

Valid optometry license in South Carolina
Prior experience in optometry preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

Experience working in correctional or federal healthcare settings
Ability to adapt to diverse patient populations
