• Shift: 3 days/week on-site, other 2 days/week in Estill, SC (split schedule)
• Hours/Week: Approximately 24-30 hours
• Employment Type: 1099 Contract

What You’ll Do:

• Provide comprehensive eye exams to correctional facility inmates
• Document findings and recommend appropriate treatments or eyewear
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality standards
• Collaborate with facility staff and other healthcare providers
• Adhere to facility protocols and federal correctional policies
• Manage all aspects of optometric care within the correctional setting

What You Need:

• Valid Optometry license for South Carolina
• Relevant certifications and credentials (to be confirmed upon application)
• Prior experience in optometry, ideally with correctional or diverse patient populations
• Strong communication skills and professionalism
• Ability to work independently in a secure environment
