Job Summary Location: Columbus, Ohio, 43213 – Category: Clinical Support – Job Id: 00645478 Position Details Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description 30‑minute call response time required. The Interventional Radiographer performs angiographic procedures, including invasive vascular treatments and examinations, while maintaining optimal image quality in both technical and non‑technical tasks. Responsibilities Perform interventional procedures with optimal image quality. Enter online charges in the Radiology Information System (RIS) and ensure accurate billing per the Administrative Policy. Participate in on‑call coverage as applicable. Follow Radiation Safety guidelines per the MCHS Radiation Safety Policy Manual. Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program or an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program. Licensure/Certification: Registered Radiographer (ARRT) with a valid Ohio Radiological License; CI or CV registry preferred. Alternatively, Cardiovascular Technologist with Registered Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist (RCIS) certification and 2 years cardiac catheterization experience preferred. Experience: Minimum 2 years in all phases of diagnostic radiography (preferred), with angiography, cardiac catheterization, or surgery experience desirable. Maintain current CPR certification. Additional Qualifications Attend in‑service programs and departmental meetings. Provide patient care, maintain safety, promote evidence‑based practice, and exhibit professionalism per Radiology and Imaging national standards.
