While no one knows what's going to change the world next, our people are already working on it.THE WORK• Develop NC programs for complex aircraft components machined on 4 and 5 axis CNC machines conforming to engineering model tolerance requirements.• Analyze engineering models to define part configuration through manufacturing process and determine type and sequence of machining operations.• Make proper cutter selections for each machining operation with knowledge of proper machining methods specific to titanium, aluminum, and magnesium.• Select NC Program options to provide the most efficient machining methods and requirements for each part operation.• Test and modify existing NC programs for engineering changes or program improvements.WHY JOIN USYour Health, Your Wealth, Your LifeWith our employees as our top priority, we provide diverse career opportunities designed to propel development and boost agility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
