Olgoonik is an Equal Opportunity Employer Overview: The Quality Control Specialist – QC manages quality program planning, quality program evaluation, identifying and resolved quality issues, and providing technical advisory services. Primary Responsibilities: Evaluates systems Analyzes data Establishes control procedures Use DSS and other Government Data Systems Validates processes Performed IAW DLA Distribution Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Audits Readiness Internal Controls Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervisory responsibilities are not anticipated. Education and/or Experience: BA/BS Degree in related field 4+ Years of Quality Control experience in an IT related environment Experience with Corrective Action Plans (CAP) 3+ years’ experience working with the Warehouse Management System (WMS). 2+ years’ experience with MIL-STD-129. Government contracting experience is preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of Material Hazard and Bio-Hazard Communication (MSDS) Knowledge of the Material Receiving / Handling sections of ISO 9000 Experience with OEM Process Flow System and Procedures (NCR) Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite of products including Word, Excel, Access and E-mail business software. Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a Team Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under a minimum of supervision Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, and have a strong attention for detail. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Microsoft Office Suite (MOUS) Certification, Microsoft Certified Professional Security Clearance. Security Clearance: The candidate must be able to pass a thorough government administered background investigation for the site.
