Join our dynamic team as a Body Piercer and bring artistry, precision, and professionalism to every piercing experience! In this new role, you will perform body piercings with meticulous attention to sanitation and safety standards, ensuring each client feels confident and cared for. Your expertise in jewelry placement, customer service, and hygiene will help create a welcoming environment where clients leave feeling inspired and satisfied. This paid position offers the opportunity to showcase your creative talents while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.
Duties
- Perform body piercings with precision, adhering to strict sanitation and safety protocols
- Consult with clients to determine their desired piercing placements and provide expert advice on jewelry options
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace that complies with health regulations and store policies
- Educate clients on aftercare procedures to ensure proper healing and satisfaction
- Manage appointments efficiently, balancing walk-in clients with scheduled sessions
- Assist in store management tasks such as inventory control of jewelry supplies and sterilization equipment
- Foster excellent customer service by building rapport, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience for every client
Qualifications
- Oregon Standard Body piercing License
- Proven experience in body piercing, with a strong portfolio demonstrating skill and artistry
- Familiarity with sanitation standards, sterilization processes, and infection control practices
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain procedures and aftercare instructions
- Certification and training in first aid
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Experience in store management or retail sales is advantageous for contributing to overall shop operations
