Registered Nurse (RN) IMCU (Intermediate Care Unit)

Location: Coos Bay, Oregon (Onsite) Work Type: Permanent Positions: 1 Hours: 3640 Hours per Week

The Registered Nurse (RN) IMCU is responsible for providing care to patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and treatment, bridging the gap between ICU and Med Surg. This role involves managing patients with complex conditions, continuous monitoring, and delivering high-quality patient-centered care.

Must-Have Qualifications

Minimum 12+ years of RN experience in IMCU / Step-Down / Telemetry
Active Oregon RN License (Required prior to start)
BLS Certification (AHA Required)
ACLS Certification (Required)
Strong experience in patient monitoring and acute care

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in step-down or progressive care units
Familiarity with telemetry monitoring systems
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Work Environment

Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) / Step-Down Unit Onsite role in Coos Bay, OR Fast-paced, patient-focused clinical environment

Additional Requirements

Must be flexible with varied shifts (Day / Evening / Night)
Ability to manage multiple patients with varying acuity
Must comply with all hospital and regulatory standards
