Associate Brand Manager

3 weeks ago Be among the first 25 applicants The Associate Brand Manager is responsible for implementing the marketing mix within the Tree Top Brand, Private Label, and other assigned product lines, to deliver maximum profit and margin. Position executes activities related to pricing, products, packaging and processes in order to build channel and enhance its profitability.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

This position reports to the Senior Brand Manager and does not supervise staff. The position works closely with Sales, Marketing, Quality Assurance, Production, Procurement, Customer Service, Traffic, Product Development, Finance, Purchasing, external agencies and partners, sales agents, customers, and consumers.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY:

KNOWLEDGE OF:

Principles and practices of marketing, advertising, promotions and general communication strategies. Working knowledge of marketing position and customer segmentation. Working knowledge of market analysis, metrics, research, and monitoring mechanisms. General understanding of strategic planning and execution. Pertinent Federal, State, and local laws, codes, and regulations.

ABILITY TO:

Effectively manage and lead multiple projects with multidisciplinary teams toward a shared goal. Maintain confidential and sensitive information. Think strategically in order to drive channel assigned results. Gain cooperation through discussion and persuasion. Identify, research, and analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, and project consequences of proposed actions. Effectively organize, plan, and execute. Use computers and computer software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Meet behaviors established in Tree Top's performance management and development process.

EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION/LICENSES, AND TRAINING:

A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field, or additional experience in lieu of a degree is required. MBA preferred Preferred - 3-5 years of experience in product/marketing/brand management. Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods is highly preferred.
