Certified Nurse Midwife Opportunity

Blanchard Valley Health System welcomes you to be part of our dedicated team serving patients in Findlay, Ohio. We are seeking one additional, full-time certified nurse midwife to join our well-established practice, providing support to two locations: Blanchard Valley OB/GYN - Findlay South Main, and Blanchard Valley OB/GYN - Bluffton.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing medical care for women in all stages of pregnancy, childbirth, and post-delivery
• Seeing outpatient clinic OB/GYN patients
• Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses
• Counseling and educating patients
• Performing diagnostic tests and procedures
• Working well within a team, expressing empathy and understanding with patients
• Demonstrated expertise and technical competency in medical care of pregnant women
• Solid knowledge of community resources and referrals
• Working understanding of the dynamics and intervention techniques related to prenatal situations
• Awareness of available substance abuse and diabetic programs, perinatal education
• Working autonomously and as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Weekdays: two 8-hour clinic days and one 24-hour call day with OB Hospitalist support
• Weekends: 1:4 call rotation (Friday/Saturday)
• Supporting at two facilities: Blanchard Valley ObGyn - Findlay South Main and Blanchard Valley ObGyn - Bluffton
• Not accepting locums or locums-to-perm candidates
• Not accepting new graduates - must have at least 2 years of CNM experience

Compensation and benefits include:

• Base Salary: $140,000-$145,000 (includes 200 hours vacation/CME)
• wRVU Productivity Bonus: $26.00 per wRVU (no cap)
• Signing Bonus: $5,000
• CME / Board Certification Allowance: $3,500
