Administer medications (when needed)Communicate with doctors and family membersProvide direction for care staffDemonstrate awareness of and sensitivity to the needs of residents and their familiesProvide daily assessment of "at risk" residents to ensure health needs are being metAssist Resident Care Director with ensuring that all medications are being administered per company and state policies.Provide training and support to Resident Care Assistants to ensure that they are properly administering medicationsQA at the direction of the Resident Care Director of the MAR, storage, and supply of medication to ensure compliance.Personally observe administration of medications to ensure compliance.Establish and maintain a healthy working relationship with PCP, specialists and other medical providers.Communicate with all departments changes in residents and medical needs.Directly supervises employeesFacilitate communication between shifts and caregiversAssign care giving duties to direct caregiversProvide assistance with coverage in extreme situationsAssist with assuring Medication Assistants and Resident Care Assistants are knowledgeable of current company and state policies pertinent to their jobsAssist with assessment of new residents for admission including ensuring that all admission paperwork meets company and state requirements prior to admissionAssist with resident admission, transfer, and discharge as neededEnsure that all employee evaluations are completed in a timely mannerEnsure ASP is followedWhat is required as an Assisted Living LPN Staff Nurse? High school diploma or GED Valid and current LPN license in the state of PennsylvaniaValid PA driver's licenseMust maintain certification as a practicum observerMust maintain CPR certificationMust complete annual training as required by current regulationsMust have excellent planning, organizational, time management & assessment skillsMust have excellent communications skillsT.E.A.M. = Together everyone accomplishes more! | We care like family, and our duty is our passion!
