ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Greensboro, North Carolina. Schedule Day shift, 3x12-hour schedule (07:00 - 19:30), with weekend and holiday rotation required. Job Description The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse will provide high-level nursing care for patients with complex medical conditions. The unit handles multiple long-term patients and requires a strong foundation in cardiac telemetry and progressive care nursing. Responsibilities Manage care for patients with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio. Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry. Administer medications and titrate intravenous drips as needed. Provide management and care of peripheral and PICC lines. Perform EKG interpretations and manage patients with dysrhythmias. Utilize advanced medical equipment as required in PCU settings. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2 years of nursing experience in a Progressive Care Unit or equivalent experience. Active RN license required. Certification in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Cardiac telemetry experience is necessary. Experience with management and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Must pass a compliance EKG exam. Why ARMStaffing?
