Harvest Corn SorterOur client, an industry leader in agriculture, is seeking a Harvest Corn Sorter to join their team. As a Harvest Corn Sorter, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to the quality and efficiency of the harvesting process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Harvest Corn SorterLocation: Switz City, INPay Range: $17 for 1st shift, $20 for 2nd shiftShift: 1st, 6:30am-3pm / 2nd, 2:30pm-11pmWhat's the Job?Safely sort corn by removing waste and damaged cobs to ensure high-quality seed productionIdentify off-type ears, moldy or immature ears, and other debris for proper disposal or re-huskingMaintain cleanliness of work environment by sweeping and removing debris as neededWork from a standing position in front of a conveyor belt for the duration of the shiftFollow all safety policies and wear required PPE, including safety glasses and glovesWhat's Needed?Ability to stand for extended periods and walk up and down stairsAbility to work in an environment with potential allergens such as corn dust and huskMust be 18 years or olderReliable attendance and punctualityWhat's in it for me?Opportunity to work with trusted brands in a fast-paced, safe environmentEngage in meaningful work supporting agricultural productivityWork schedule of 6 days a week with 8-hour shiftsPotential for ongoing employment during the harvest season
