About This Role
Join our dynamic team at Carriage House in Breckenridge, CO, where we're dedicated to providing a play-based education for children aged 8 weeks to 5 years. Our team utilizes the Creative Curriculum and Pyramid Plus approach to foster social and emotional growth. We're seeking a passionate and flexible teacher who can adapt to new situations and thrive in our mountain lifestyle. What You'll Do- Collaborate with teachers to implement engaging lesson plans and ensure high-quality care for our students
- Promote a nurturing environment that encourages social, cognitive, and emotional growth among children
- Support colleagues by covering breaks and facilitating teacher planning time
- Verify adherence to all center policies and state regulations
- Maintain a healthy and safe classroom environment through diligent attention to hygiene, cleanliness, and security
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and achieve continuous quality improvement
- Must hold a Colorado Shines Level 2 credential (or be EC Lead Teacher qualified) and be able to obtain within 2 weeks of employment
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with colleagues, children, and parents
- Comply with all background check requirements
- Work a full-time schedule with 4 days per week
- Enroll in 2 fully paid Early Childhood classes within the first year of employment, if necessary
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or related field
Experience working with young children in a group classroom setting
