Heavy Highway Construction company in South Texas is hiring experienced truck drivers.
Job Description
Drive and operate a water truck in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life.
Essential Job Functions and Requirements
- Commercial Driver License with good driving record required.
- Tanker endorsement required.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance check of the truck.
- Must have knowledge of applicable DOT rules and regulations.
- May be required to help with ground work when truck is not being operated.
- Operate all commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
- Advise the Foreman/Superintendent of any requirements for maintenance or repairs.
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Practice workplace safety.
- Performs other related duties.
Full-time position. Company offers benefits, 401(K) plan and paid vacation.
