About GSVS: We are a multispecialty practice with boarded veterinary specialists in Emergency and Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Dermatology, Cardiology, Rehabilitation, and Ophthalmology. We have also been treating felines with hyperthyroid disease with radioactive iodine since 2001! We are also proud to have technicians here at GSVS with their VTS in Internal Medicine and Cardiology.

As an ICU Veterinary Technician, you'll work alongside a skilled and supportive team to provide attentive, high-quality care to pets in our care.

How You'll Make a Difference

• Maintain accurate medical records and complete treatments promptly
• Follow ICU protocols and assist with CPR and patient stabilization
• Provide continuous monitoring and compassionate care for pets in our care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Manage sedation, anesthesia, fluid therapy, blood products, and CRIs
• Place and maintain IV lines, catheters, feeding tubes, and other indwelling tubes
• Provide care for mechanically ventilated pets when needed

We're looking for a dedicated veterinary professional who possesses:

• Certification as a Veterinary Technician with a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, or 5+ years of veterinary technician experience
• A team-oriented mindset
• Self-motivation and initiative
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective problem-solving skills
• The ability to communicate professionally with clients and all members of the veterinary team
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to caring for pets in our care
• A positive attitude
• Excellent organizational skills
• Honesty, integrity, and a desire to enjoy the work you do

• $23-$34 per hour , based on skills, experience, and credentials, plus overnight shift differentials
