BSN Instructor OBGYN Per Diem

Education Experience Knowledge Skills and Abilities: 

Must meet all nursing board requirements for an instructor in the state(s) from which students will attend. 

Among the requirements for faculty teaching technical (non- Gen Ed) courses in a CCNE-accredited BSN program at a college accredited by ACCSC are: 

• at least 4 years experience in direct patient care as an RN 
• a BSN degreeand a health-related Masters or Doctorate degree* 

Among the requirements for faculty teaching technical (non- Gen Ed) courses in a CCNE-accredited BSN program at a college accredited by ABHES are: 

• at least 3 years experience in direct patient care as an RN 
• a BSN degree and a health-related Masters or Doctorate degree* 

Qualifications :

To be considered for the position you must meet the requirements set by the board of nursing below:

• MSN degree OR BSN and currently enrolled in an MSN program. Candidates with their BSN and enrolled in an MSN program will only be eligible to teach clinicals. 
• 4 years of bedside nursing experience. 
• Current active nursing license in the state where the position is located 
• Current immunization and Basic Life Support certification 
• Able to meet the faculty requirements set by the Board of Vocational Nursing.
