Registered Nurse - MS/Tele - Oncology - Chemo Certified

Location: Freehold, NJ

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology and MS/Tele to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients receiving chemotherapy and those with a past or present cancer diagnosis. The nurse will also provide care for inpatient hospice patients requiring general inpatient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients for side effects.
• Provide IV infusions and medication administration.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and provide patient/family education.
• Perform symptom management and support measures for oncology patients.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and manage patient safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active New Jersey or Compact RN license.
• 2 years of nursing experience, with oncology or tele experience preferred.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy (Fundamental course not accepted).
• Epic charting experience is required.
