SERVICE MANAGER

Romeo Auto Group is seeking a driven, personable, and experienced Service Manager to lead and elevate our service operations. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between our valued customers, skilled technicians, and dealership leadership-ensuring every interaction reflects our commitmentto quality, transparency, and trust. You will play a critical role in guiding department performance, strengthening customer relationships, and delivering service experiences that set us apart. Key Responsibilities: Lead service department growth, profitability, and overall performance Ensure compliance with all vendor policies, warranty procedures, and regulatory standards Oversee repair quality, costs, and workflow to ensure timely, accurate results Monitor departmental metrics and warranty performance Manage and support technicians through fair work distribution, training, and development Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment Review repair orders to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality workmanship Lead team meetings, staff development, and hiring initiatives Build strong customer relationships and support service communication when needed Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) Matching Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Care Insurance Paid Time Off Proven experience in a service leadership or supervisory role within a dealership or service department Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict-resolution abilities Solid understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair processes Working knowledge of vendor policies, warranty procedures, and overall service operations Proficiency in dealership management systems (DMS), Microsoft Office, and service scheduling tool Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality and follow-through Ability to remain flexible, professional, and composed under pressure Valid New York State Driver's License with a clean driving record Consent to a background check Romeo Auto is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
