Retail Store Associate

Able Saw, located in Prescott, AZ, is seeking a full-time store associate to become part of our team. As an Elite dealer of Outdoor Power Equipment, we offer both sales and service. The ideal candidate would be attentive, ambitious, and dependable.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers into the store using a friendly, polite tone
• Assist customers by responding to their inquiries and providing information on products
• Answer phone calls and provide information to callers
• Enter sales and customer data into the Point-of-Sale system
• Processes cash, checks, and credit card payments in our Point-of-Sale system
• Manage several job duties while providing timely service to customers
• Keep the sales floor and cashier's area tidy and well-organized
• Ensure accurate product tag and label pricing
• Monitor the merchandise and notify the manager when items need to be restocked
• Understand and monitor optimal inventory levels, restocking products when needed
• Actively involved in receiving shipments

Qualifications:

• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Able to problem solve as issues arise
• Computer skills for processing financial transactions, checking inventory, and looking up parts
• Good with numbers and attention to details
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift merchandise weighing up to 30 pounds

Salary is dependent on experience.  Will train the right person.
