The Associate Director is part of the growing Media Activation team and leads campaign strategy, planning, execution and management. They also oversee and coach Managers and Associates on the same accounts, manage their own workload, and serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners. The role involves onboarding and training junior team members on account specifics, media buying platforms/tools, and campaign management best practices. This position can be remote in the US or in any US office (New York City, Boston, or Chicago). What you’ll do Lead tactical strategy and planning for campaigns from a brief Manage a team of Managers/Associates who work on the same accounts Train the team to build campaigns in buying platforms, perform QAs, and activate according to best practices Attend meetings on behalf of the account’s team to ensure proper communication between capability and client/brand needs Pull platform reporting and generate insights for Analytics readouts and client deliverables Oversee monthly billing and actualization between vendor and internal teams to ensure timely delivery Lead planning process alongside senior team members and Integrated Media team Vet vendor offerings to ensure use of best-in-class tech and tools for respective accounts Maintain communication with vendor partners Provide timely updates to all campaign stakeholders Participate in client meetings when applicable, with support from senior team members Support internal and external communications across several accounts, from briefs and strategic recommendations to multi-channel plans and measurement planning Lead preparation of client-facing presentation slides summarizing performance and recommendations Onboard and train Managers/Associates on account specifics and media buying platforms What you should have 5+ years of professional experience in digital media as a campaign manager with ownership of buying platform management, campaign management, optimization & digital media operations 3+ years of hands-on platform experience in Programmatic, Paid Search and/or Paid Social Proven track record of increasing levels of responsibility Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Experience leading day-to-day meetings and client deliverables Experience in platform strategy and tactical recommendations Excellent client communication & deliverables Healthcare industry experience (preferred but not required) Strong problem-solving and issue resolution skills Excellent oral and written communication Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Strong project and time management skills Attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word Pay Pay Range: $120,000.00-$125,000.00 This range may be adjusted based on experience, skills, certifications, and location in compliance with applicable law.
