Cash Application Specialist

Overview Cash Application Specialist are responsible for processing high volume transactions for the Accounts Receivable department. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high-volume environment and have previous accounts receivable experience. Responsibilities Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, and posting accounts receivable data. Post all incoming customer payments, including checks, wires, ACH, and credit card payments, to customer account. Process returned payments against customer account. Perform daily credit card processing and reconciliation. Perform daily cash reconciliation. Research and reconcile discrepancies. Process code‑out checks to general ledger accounts in Oracle. Complete customer request ACH forms. Qualifications Experience: 2+ years working in an accounts receivable department. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to create and maintain Excel spreadsheets. Understand/previous experience with third party payees. Understand/previous experience working within customer base portals. Demonstrate knowledge of Cash Application. Experience with high volume data entry. Experience working within Billtrust Software a plus.
