Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care. In this role, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes. Key Responsibilities Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing assessments. Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, assessments, and interventions in accordance with facility protocols. Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs. Education: Educate patients and their families about health management, treatment options, and preventative measures to promote overall wellness. Emergency Response: Respond effectively to medical emergencies, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to provide immediate care. Mentorship: Support the onboarding and training of new nursing staff and assist in the development of nursing students during clinical rotations. Qualifications Current RN licensure in WV. Previous nursing experience in a long-term care or acute care setting is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of nursing procedures, protocols, and best practices. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues. Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
