Overview Cardiovascular Technologist – Echo Tech supporting pediatric echocardiography in Boston, MA. This travel assignment is a temporary position through Healthforce Healthcare LLC, starting 09/08/2026 for approximately 22 weeks with 8-hour shifts. Guaranteed 32 hours per week and a weekly pay range of $2,144–$2,309. Work will take place in a hospital setting with an outpatient pediatric imaging department and occasional coverage of inpatient units, the ED, and NICU as needed. The EMR environment includes EPIC Hyperspace featuring Cadence Scheduling. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,144–$2,309 per week Guaranteed hours: 32 per week Contract length: 22 weeks Shift: 8-hour shifts Start date: 09/08/2026 Setting: Hospital-based outpatient pediatric imaging with cross-coverage to inpatient/ED/NICU Responsibilities Perform pediatric echocardiography studies, including transthoracic echocardiograms and, when applicable, fetal echocardiography, ensuring high-quality image acquisition. Work independently in the outpatient pediatric imaging department and provide coverage for inpatient, ED, and NICU as needed. Manage data capture and upload related data (Holter and blood pressure device results) into the patient’s chart and ensure timely documentation. Apply imaging protocols, optimize images, and communicate findings to the cardiology team; document results in EPIC Hyperspace Cadence Scheduling. Adhere to safety, infection control, and privacy standards; maintain equipment and verify calibration and cleaning per policy.
