Essential Job Functions

An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential duties:

• Oversee daily operations of the deli, ensuring product quality and presentation.
• Manage inventory and ordering processes to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Develop and implement deli menus that align with customer preferences and seasonal offerings.
• Supervise staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and report any unsafe conditions promptly.
• Maintain high food quality and safety standards, promptly addressing any unsafe conditions anywhere on the property that can't be rectified immediately and reporting them in writing to the office.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and providing change.
• Support store operations and team members as required.
• Good communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting
• Ability to exert up to 10 lbs of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
