Maintenance Technician - Millwright

Earn $25.61 to $32.73 per hour We train and promote from within Excellent low-cost health benefits Retirement plan with employer-paid contributions Paid vacation and 10 holidays About the Position Fabrication, repair, and perform diagnostics for manufacturing equipment and processes Install and troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment that are reliable and consistent Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic (oil/air logic) controlled equipment Operate cutting torch, welders, hand tools, forklift, and welding truck Weld various materials using MIG, TIG, and stick Recognize, report, and repair mechanical defects Identify and communicate opportunities and take measures to reduce waste Ensure product and process quality through self-inspection of finished products Effectively manage time and materials for each project Focus on current work while planning the next stages of work Perform general maintenance in a safe and efficient manner and maintain a clean work area Work may consist of various shifts, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times Qualifications 1-year recent verifiable related work history or educational equivalent Must have current welding certification Proficient in welding, cutting, and using hand tools for repairs Knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, motors, and gear boxes Industrial/commercial mechanical maintenance experience is a plus Benefits Full Health Benefits Plan (medical, dental, vision) with low-cost premiums 401(k) with Company Match and additional Retirement Contributions Company-paid Life Insurance How to Apply Apply online and view all career opportunities at spi.careers View phone number on click.appcast.io Sierra Pacific is an (EOE) Equal Opportunity Employer, including those with a disability and veterans. #J-18808-Ljbffr
