DCR - Senior Aircraft Technician

Job Overview Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Senior Dynamic Component Repair Technician to join our Dynamic Component Repair (DCR) team at the Grand Prairie, TX facility. Key Responsibilities Provide support to section lead and supervisor and backup when vital for reporting or daily routine. Provide technical support and expertise to the section technicians. Rework parts for the Overhaul process. Inspect parts for continued airworthiness. Assemble parts for repair or overhaul. Qualifications Minimum six (6) years of mechanical skill experience. Proven ability to provide basic leadership to lower level technicians. FAA Airframe & PowerPlant License is preferred but not required. Proficient reading, writing, and speaking in English. Authorized to work in the U.S. (Citizenship or valid work authorization). Physical Requirements Ability to see and read documents, reports, and engineering drawings. Ability to hear the production floor, safety warnings, and alarms. Ability to speak in conversations and meetings. Ability to operate personal computer, telephone, copier, fax machine, etc. Ability to carry, lift, push, pull up to 30lbs (14kg). Ability to sit, stand, squat or kneel as required.
