Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional, classroom aide, or in a support role within a school environment
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and a virtual SLP

• High school diploma or GED required; further education or relevant certifications are a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the virtual SLP during student sessions, both in-person and online
• Provide classroom and one-on-one support for students, following SLP guidance
• Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed
• Support students with special needs in developing communication and social skills
• Maintain organized records of student progress and session activities
• Foster an encouraging, respectful atmosphere that promotes student participation
• Communicate regularly with the SLP, teachers, and other school staff
