Bakery & Café Franchise Operations Manager (Downtown Los Angeles)

Overview Our client, a fast-scaling Japanese-inspired bakery and café brand, is seeking a Bakery & Café Franchise Operations Manager to join their team in Downtown Los Angeles. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a hands-on hospitality leader who can uphold brand quality while translating successful store operations into scalable franchise standards. You will act as a key partner to executive leadership, ensuring operational consistency, repeatability, and franchise readiness across current and future locations. Requirements [Must-Have] 7+ years of experience in bakery, café, restaurant, or hospitality operations Proven ability to standardize operations across multiple locations Deep understanding of quality control beyond single-store execution Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Financial and operational literacy (labor, food cost, efficiency) Willingness to travel between locations [Preferred] Experience with Japanese or Asian food concepts Franchise or multi-unit leadership experience Experience creating SOPs and franchise manuals Responsibilities Franchise Quality & Operations Oversee and enforce franchise-wide operational and quality standards Conduct hands-on, on-site evaluations of taste, workflow, and execution Ensure consistency in food quality, service standards, and production processes Develop, refine, and maintain SOPs and franchise manuals Training & Partner Support Train franchise partners and store leadership teams on operational standards Evaluate whether products and operations are franchise-ready and scalable Participate in reverse pitch evaluations of franchise candidates Collaborate with executive leadership on operational strategy and expansion readiness Uphold food safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance across locations Take a hands-on leadership role during critical operational periods Location & Compensation Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA (On-site) Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt Compensation: DOE Travel: Between locations as required Career growth within a fast-scaling bakery & café franchise High visibility and direct exposure to executive leadership Competitive, DOE compensation based on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
