We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA Lease Accounting SME to drive the design, configuration, and implementation of our lease portfolio.
Technical & System Requirements
- SAP Core Modules: Mastery of SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling), including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Asset Accounting.
- SAP RE-FX: Deep technical or functional knowledge of the SAP Real Estate Management ( RE-FX ) module, specifically the Contract Valuation engine for leases.
- S/4HANA Experience: Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA finance transitions or greenfield implementations is highly preferred.
- Data Migration: Ability to upload, validate, and abstract legacy lease portfolios into SAP using tools like LTMC or LSMW.
- Reporting Tools: Proficiency with SAP Fiori apps, SAP Analytics Cloud, or standard SAP transaction codes to run disclosure reports.
Accounting & Compliance Requirements
- Standard Compliance: Complete understanding of right-of-use (ROU) asset creation and lease liability calculations under ASC 842 and IFRS 16 .
- Transition Logic: Experience setting up or auditing retrospective and modified retrospective adoption methods within the SAP ledger.
- Complex Scenarios: Ability to configure SAP for variable lease payments, index rate adjustments, impairments, and early terminations.
