Deli Associate – Grocery Store | Snow’s Family Market | Mercer, WI

Snow’s Family Market, a family-owned grocery store in Mercer, WI, is hiring a Deli Associate to join our team. If you enjoy working with food, helping customers, and being part of a fast-paced, friendly environment, this is a great opportunity to join a long-standing local business.

No deli experience required—we will train the right person.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare deli items including sandwiches, salads, and hot foods
• Cook and prepare rotisserie chickens
• Slice meats and cheeses and assist customers with selections
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service
• Stock and rotate deli inventory
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Support team members in daily deli operations

What We’re Looking For

• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and be part of a team
• Attention to detail and food safety practices
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays as needed)
• ServSafe certification a plus, but not required

Full Time Pay & Benefits

Pay: $14-$16 per hour depending on experience

• Up to $2,000 Retention Bonuses Available (based on performance goals)
• +$2.00/hr Sunday premium pay
• +$2.00/hr holiday pay
• Paid time off: 5 PTO days in first year (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving)
• 1 week paid vacation after 1 year (full-time employees)
