CT Technologist PRN

The role involves providing safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging services, primarily in radiology and CT, by independently performing a variety of technical procedures. Responsibilities include verifying clinician orders, obtaining patient histories, preparing and positioning patients, operating imaging equipment, ensuring radiation safety, and maintaining equipment and department cleanliness. Strong communication skills are essential for explaining procedures, addressing patient concerns, and collaborating with healthcare teams. The ideal candidate must be dependable, flexible with work hours, and capable of responding to emergencies. Qualifications include an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, BLS certification, and at least one year of radiology experience, with preference for CT experience. Candidates should demonstrate excellent customer service, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and a solid understanding of anatomy, pathology, and quality control standards.
