Position summary

We’re looking for a proactive, highly organized Staffing Partner to support Nava’s day-to-day staffing operations. This person will play a central role in connecting our people, projects, and staffing needs—making sure we have the right people in the right roles at the right time. This role will connect staffing demand with internal resource supply, coordinate external hiring when needed, and keep staffing processes and data moving accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities change, information may be incomplete, and success depends on proactively identifying what needs to happen next.

What you'll do

• Monitor staffing demand and internal resource supply, including upcoming roll-offs, staffing cliffs, Bench, Leave returns, and new staffing requests
• Identify clear-fit internal staffing opportunities based on skills, experience, availability, and project needs
• Coordinate internal transitions, onboarding, backfills, and project changes with employees and Program Managers
• Partner with Talent Acquisition when internal resources are not available and help coordinate external hiring pipelines
• Maintain accurate staffing information across Jira, Workday, and staffing dashboards
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders (such as: Client Delivery, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Contracts, leadership, etc…) to keep staffing decisions and actions moving forward
• Identify staffing risks early and escalate exceptions or decisions that require leadership input

What We're Looking For

• Experience in staffing, resource management, workforce planning, recruiting, project/program operations, or a similar role, preferably at a boutique consulting firm
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
• Strong judgment and ability to make informed decisions independently
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working with data, dashboards, and operational systems such as Jira, Workday and Greenhouse
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Proactive problem-solver who looks ahead, identifies gaps, and takes ownership of getting things done
• We are growing rapidly and processes are adapting at a fast pace to match. We’re looking for someone who navigates the change with ease and has a hands-on approach to improving the process
• RMCP certification is nice-to-have

What Success Looks Like

• Staffing needs and available resources are proactively monitored and addressed
• Internal resources are considered before unnecessary external hiring
• Staffing cliffs, roll-offs, Leave returns, and Bench needs are identified early
• Staffing information in Jira and Workday is accurate and up to date
• Routine staffing decisions move forward without unnecessary leadership involvement
• Stakeholders have clear visibility into staffing changes, risks, and next steps
• Builds strong relationships with business partners, especially on Client Delivery teams (Product, Engineering, Design, Program, Project Management, and Growth)

Compensation

$100,000—$115,000 USD

Legal authorization to work in the United States

Ability to meet any other requirements for government contracts for which candidates are hired

Work authorization that doesn’t require visa sponsorship, now or in the future

May be subject to a government background check or security clearance, depending on the contract
