Local Package Delivery Driver - 1099

Position Overview

Supreme Works is seeking dependable and motivated Independent Contractor Delivery Drivers to complete local package pickup and delivery routes. Drivers will use their own personal vehicles to safely and efficiently complete assigned routes while maintaining consistent communication with management throughout the day.

This opportunity is ideal for responsible, self motivated individuals who are comfortable driving locally, managing their time dependently, following delivery instructions, and providing reliable service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

Pickup and deliver packages along assigned local routes
Use a personal vehicle to complete scheduled deliveries
Follow assigned routes and delivery instructions, and schedules
Safely load, transport, and deliver packages
Maintain communication with management regarding route progress, delays, delivery issues, or other concerns.
Accurately provide required delivery confirmation and updates
Complete assigned deliveries safely and efficiently
Manage time effectively to complete assigned routes with an expected timeframe
Follow all applicable traffic laws and safety requirements
Maintain professional conduct with customers and company representatives

Requirements

Valid driver's license
Reliable personal vehicle in safe operating condition
Current vehicle registration and legally required automobile insurance
Smartphone with reliable GPS/navigation capabilities
Reliable transportation and consistent availability
Strong communication and time management skills
Ability to safely handle, transport, and deliver packages associated with assigned routes.
Must be dependable, professional, punctual, customer-service oriented and able to work independently

Compensation

$75-$350 per day, depending on route, package volume, workload and assignments

This is an independent contractor (1099) opportunity. Contractors are responsible for their own vehicle expenses, fuel, maintenance, insurance, and applicable taxes.
