Fountain View Nursing & Rehabilitation - Respiratory Therapist (RT) – Night Shift Vent Unit | Skilled Nursing | Fountain View – Cincinnati, OH (Silverton Area) Fountain View is seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our night shift team in our specialized ventilator and skilled nursing unit . This role is ideal for a Respiratory Therapist who excels in a highacuity environment and is committed to delivering exceptional respiratory care during overnight hours. Position Overview As a Night Shift Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care to residents requiring ventilator and complex pulmonary support. You will work collaboratively with nursing staff, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure resident safety, comfort, and clinical excellence throughout the night. Key Responsibilities Manage and monitor ventilators and respiratory equipment Assess residents’ respiratory status and respond to changes in condition Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered Perform trach care, suctioning, and airway management Ensure ventilator alarms, settings, and equipment function properly Accurately document assessments, treatments, and interventions Collaborate closely with nursing and clinical leadership overnight Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide oncall clinical support as needed Qualifications Active Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT) in the state of Ohio Ventilator experience required (SNF, LTACH, hospital, or ICU preferred) Strong assessment and criticalthinking skills Ability to work independently during overnight hours Excellent communication and documentation skills Experience in skilled nursing or longterm care preferred What We Offer Competitive night shift pay Stable overnight scheduling Supportive leadership and collaborative team environment Ongoing education and training opportunities Opportunity to work in a specialized ventilator program If you are a Respiratory Therapist with ventilator experience looking for a rewarding night shift opportunity in a skilled nursing setting, we encourage you to apply today and become part of the Fountain View team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
