Total Compensation: $55,000–$65,000 USD annually, including base salary and performance-based incentives

Do you love social media, podcasts, digital content, and figuring out what makes people pay attention? Are you someone who asks great questions, enjoys learning new things, and gets energized by variety?

At Protocase Inc. and 45Drives Ltd., we're growing our presence in Wilmington, North Carolina, and we're looking for a Marketer to join our team.

This isn't a role where you'll be confined to one small corner of marketing. Depending on your strengths and interests, you could find yourself producing a podcast with an aerospace founder, writing ad copy for a server campaign, creating social content, working with technical experts, or collaborating with our Sales team on new collateral.

You don't need to know how to do all of that on day one. We're looking for someone with the curiosity, initiative, and aptitude to learn and gain new skills along the way.

What You'll Do

The role will evolve around your skills, interests, and strengths, but your work could include:

• Creating and publishing engaging content across our social media channels.
• Helping develop and execute marketing campaigns that build brand awareness and generate demand.
• Writing compelling copy for advertisements, social media, emails, landing pages, and other marketing materials.
• Supporting the production of company podcasts, including researching potential guests, coordinating outreach, conducting discovery calls, and developing episode outlines.
• Assisting with the creation, execution, and optimization of digital advertising campaigns across various platforms.
• Working with subject-matter experts to turn technical or complex topics into interesting, accessible marketing content.
• Collaborating with teammates across Marketing, Sales, and other departments on a wide variety of projects.
• Exploring new tools, channels, and approaches—including thoughtful and appropriate uses of AI—to make our marketing more effective and efficient.

What Success Looks Like

You don't need to know everything—we certainly don't expect you to.

We're looking for someone who's naturally curious, enjoys learning, asks thoughtful questions, and gets excited about trying new things. Marketing at Protocase and 45Drives moves quickly, so you'll be most successful if you're comfortable switching between projects, taking initiative, and figuring things out as you go.

You might be a great fit if you:

• Have 1–2 years of marketing experience. 
• Have a diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Are creative and bring strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Are self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate exceptionally well, both in writing and verbally, with strong attention to detail.
• Are organized and able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Enjoy collaborating with people across different teams and disciplines.
• Have an appreciation for using AI tools thoughtfully where they can streamline work, improve accuracy, or support creativity.
• Have a genuine interest in social media, podcasts, digital content, and emerging media.
• Have experience in a B2B environment—an asset, but not a requirement.
