About the Role

The Company is seeking an Assistant General Counsel - Finance to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be the primary internal legal advisor for complex project finance transactions, with a focus on supporting the company's growth strategy and renewable energy pipeline. This role demands a legal professional with a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school, active bar membership, and a minimum of 8 years of legal experience, particularly in financing transactions. The Assistant General Counsel - Finance will be responsible for leading strategic finance transactions, partnering with various internal and external teams, and providing legal guidance on a range of commercial agreements. Deep experience in project finance, tax monetization structures, and expertise in energy finance and renewable energy development are essential. Key responsibilities for the Assistant General Counsel - Finance include advising on a variety of financial structures, leading borrower-side diligence, and managing the execution of legal workstreams for closing. The role also involves supporting commercial and development transactions, advising on governance and internal legal matters, and contributing to the development of scalable legal infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
