About the Position

Job Title: RN Telemetry I Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in one location and 2 years as a Traveler License: Current RN License Certifications: AHA Certified BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Must be able to read telemetry strips Description: M/S Tele RN - 36 hrs. Nights & EOW 41 Bed Medical Telemetry Unit. Travelers are required to float to applicable units when needed. Night positions are straight Nights. Skill sets required include cardiac telemetry, cardiac drips, interpretation of telemetry strips, TR bands, and Hi-Flow oxygen. Clinician to patient ratio on nights is 1 to 5/6. Patient population includes cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psych, substance use disorder, GU, and GI. Total bed count is 41 with an average census of 41. The charting system used is EPIC.
