Medical AssistantStafford, VA Pay From: $19 per hourMUST:The Medical Assistant must have experience:High school diploma or GED equivalent2+ years' experience as a medical assistant (AAMA certification preferred)Medical terminology knowledge requiredEMR experience required (eClinicalworks is preferred)English and Spanish speaking is preferredMust have reliable transportation to float to the Woodbridge office as neededDUTIES:Greet and room patients, ensuring appropriate patient flowUpdate patient's medical chart with accurate and timely documentationManage phone triage and take appropriate action under the direction of the providerDemonstrate ability and appropriate technical skills when administering treatments and procedures in accordance with physician's ordersProvide patient education as well as personal patient care to provide comfort and well-being to acknowledge physiological and psychological needsUnder direction from providers, process refills for prescriptions following clinic protocolDemonstrates positive interpersonal relationships in dealing with fellow clinic employees, managers and providersTake direction and initiate actions that will allow cross-functional duties to ensure seamless patient careFollow safety procedures in compliance with OSHA and state health department guidelinesQuadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
