Step into a pivotal role as a Senior Dynatrace Engineer with the Georgia Department of Transportation in Atlanta, GA. You'll lead the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced monitoring solutions across critical infrastructure and applications, leveraging Dynatrace as your primary tool. [Responsibilities]

- Architect, configure, and maintain comprehensive monitoring solutions using Dynatrace for servers, cloud platforms, applications, and network components.
- Onboard and integrate all critical applications and services into Dynatrace, ensuring end-to-end visibility and proactive issue detection.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and health checks for monitoring system health, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to identify trends, capacity needs, and resolve incidents rapidly.
- Conduct root cause analysis and close monitoring gaps by refining alert strategies and monitoring standards.
- Support incident response with actionable insights, contributing to troubleshooting and resolution of performance issues.
- Continuously enhance monitoring configurations, documentation, and integration with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).

[Required Skills and Experience]

- Minimum 5 years in systems engineering, infrastructure support, or monitoring roles.
- At least 5 years hands-on experience with Dynatrace or similar Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools.
- Proficiency in monitoring Windows/Linux servers, VMware, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Demonstrated experience with scripting or automation tools (PowerShell, Bash).
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing.
- Proven ability to recommend and configure monitoring thresholds, KPIs, and SLAs.
- Experience migrating from Dynatrace Managed to SaaS.
- Familiarity with enterprise log analysis frameworks, ITSM tools, and incident management processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

[Preferred Skills]

- Exposure to AWS Solution Architect Professional Certification.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or container monitoring.
- Experience working within regulated industries (healthcare, financial services).
- Knowledge of ITIL practices.
