Come and experience your future!THE WORKCoordinates with Sourcing, Operations, Design Engineering, the Supply Base and Industry experts to facilitate the design, production, test and qualification of aerospace and defense products.Analyzes technical data, designs, preliminary specifications, manufacturing limitations, supplier facilities, and parts/equipment availability.Investigates and recommends potential suppliers based on assessments of response to specifications, costs, inspection of facilities, and historical performance.Facilitate technical trade-offs and standardization that may lead to more economical procurement.Recommends design changes to mitigate production issues. Our products keep our customers safe and bring them home to their families at night.WHO YOU AREYou thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment and are committed to delivering best-in-class products and solutions.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.Ability to read and interpret technical informationOperations experienceProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis tools.Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally with sourcing, SMEs, proposal teams, and senior stakeholders.Ability to obtain a security clearance Desired SkillsExperience working closely with suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure all procured materials meet quality and performance standardsExperience working independently, as well as within a team structureExperience effectively communicating with senior leaders to include program, company, subcontractors, and customersBackground in a STEM discipline (e.g., engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related field).Comfortable presenting in cross functional team settings (Quality Program Team Meeting, Program Reviews, and Supplier Management Team meetings).Green Belt CertificationFormer Quality/Inspection, Global Supply Chain, or Engineering experience preferredUnderstanding of industry standardsUnderstanding of Quality Management System requirements (AS9100, ISO9001)Understanding of First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) AS9102 requirementsFamilirity with SAP based MES or ERP systemsBackground in Root Cause AnalysisExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf starter - Ability to work autonomously Motivated to learn and adapt with proactive mindsetPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
