Summary of Duties

The Activities Staff serve as key members of the Activities Team, helping plan, create, and supervise all camp activities. They assist in designing and delivering engaging programs that are safe, fun, and appropriate for campers' ages and abilities. Activities Staff also support the overall camp operation under the direction of the Director of Camp Events.

Compensation:

Compensation for this position is funded through Ministry Partner Development (MPD). A salary goal will be established, and Life Action Ministries will provide the training, coaching, and resources needed to help you build a team of ministry partners to reach that goal.

All approved ministry-related business expenses are covered by Life Action Ministries.

Requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management and care of Activities Department supplies and equipment.
• Perform daily checks of activity areas and equipment for safety, cleanliness, and good repair.
• Participate in the design, delivery, and supervision of programs, special events, and all-camp activities.
• Provide creative program ideas to the Activities Director.
• Develop games and activities for events, including the construction of props and equipment when needed.
• Actively engage with guests in order to enrich their camp experience.

Physical Demands

This role requires:

• Endurance in an active outdoor environment.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift, stoop, and stretch.
• Participation in physically active games and activities.
