About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years including telemetry experience License: Current nursing license in hand Certifications: BLS, NIHSS, ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Charting experience in EPIC - No blocked scheduling - No gel polish or artificial nails, dips, powders, press-on, etc. permitted Description: Position is for a Registered Nurse in a step-down unit. The role requires experience with telemetry. Candidates must possess certifications in BLS and NIHSS, and ACLS is preferred. Charting experience with EPIC is required. Candidates should have a valid nursing license. The schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts per week, including every other weekend. Responsibilities will include managing patients with various diagnoses such as heart failure, respiratory failure, and sepsis. Skills required encompass cardiac telemetry, managing IVs, and administering blood products. The patient ratio on nights is four patients per nurse. Compliance with infection control policies is mandatory. References must be provided upon request. Travelers may have limited absences during the contract period. Candidates must adhere to all attendance policies and contract requirements. Modules for orientation are part of the onboarding process.
