Date Posted: 2026-05-21 Location: US-MA-TEWKSBURY Responsibilities Design and hand‑on testing of microwave components, cards, and systems; provide technical support to production activities. Design RF microwave components and phased‑array applications. Integrate and test component‑level and system‑level phased‑array hardware. Manage cost and schedule. Write proposals and deliver presentations. Travel to integration sites, customers, and subcontractor facilities as required. Qualifications (Required) Degree in a STEM field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Experience in microwave/RF system, subsystem, and component analysis, design, and test. Hands‑on experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, Genesys, Mentor Graphics’ Xpedition and analytical tools such as Matlab. Capable of performing basic RF calculations and cascaded analysis. Understanding of RF layout techniques from HF to X‑Band. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong academic background in Microwave Engineering, Microwave Systems, Electromagnetic Theory, and Radar Systems. Hands‑on experience with microwave testing techniques, including spectrum analyzers, real‑time spectrum analyzers (RSAs), vector network analyzers (VNAs), and performance network analyzers (PNAs). Experience in technical writing, proposal writing, and oral presentations. Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering is a plus. Qualifications (Preferred) Background designing and testing analog CCAs, including frequency conversion, automatic gain control, amplifier design, and analog filter design. Experience in electrical interconnects and transmission line design. Understanding of EMI analysis and mitigation techniques.
