Our commitment to everything we do inspires us to guarantee the ultimate environment for weddings, private banquets, tournaments, and curated club functions.ResponsibilitiesMaintain a professional appearance and warm demeanor at all timesProvide prompt, courteous, and efficient service to members and event guestsAssist with the setup, breakdown, and reset of event spaces, including banquet tables, chairs, linens, centerpieces, and service stationsDisplay knowledge of event menus, service styles (buffet, plated, family-style, passing hors d'oeuvres), and beverage offeringsServe food and beverages to event attendees in an accurate, timely, and polished mannerFollow established steps of service and maintain high service standards per provided trainingAdhere to all sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policiesMonitor event spaces throughout functions to clear used glassware, dishware, and debris, keeping tables and stations clean and organizedAttentively check in on guests to ensure satisfaction and replenish beverage or food stations as requiredListen to and address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, escalating to event managers as necessaryPerform post-event cleanup, equipment breakdown, and closing procedures as assigned by managementPerform all other duties assigned by the Event Manager or SupervisorEducation and Experience Requirements1–2 years of event, banquet, or hospitality service experienceMinimum education: High School (or equivalent) DiplomaUnderstanding of elevated banquet service standards and private event dynamicsMust be of legal age to serve alcohol according to state lawPossess excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skillsHighly dependable with strong attention to detailAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy event environmentDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team settingWorking ConditionsPhysical activity including extended periods (6–8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and carrying service traysMust be able to regularly lift, push, or carry event equipment and trays up to 30 lbsUse of sight, hand-eye coordination, and wrist movement to serve food/beverages and set up event equipmentSpecific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perceptionNoise levels range from quiet to lively depending on the nature of the eventMust have flexible availability to work extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak event seasonsBenefits & Other Compensation: This position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms:Healthcare Benefits – Medical, Dental, and Vision coverageRetirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older)Eligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company's discretion.About TroonFounded in 1990 and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Troon is the world's largest professional club management company, that specializes in services in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.
