Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTIONJOB DESCRIPTIONServes food, beverages, and desserts to customers in a full service fast food restaurant, request customers order, serve customers in a hospitable and professional manner to insure they are satisfied with their dining experience, ring up and give customers their bills, monitor food quality, clean table after customers aregone, complete assigned side work.Overview of Tasks:Serve customers using Shoney’s Signature 10 step procedure, greet customers with a smile, take customers order, (assist in answering any question pertaining to menu the customer might have), call/turn order into kitchen, may prepare fountain drinks, serve foods quickly and in a friendly manner, make sure customers have everything they need to complete their meal, give customers their bill, clean assigned station, do assigned side work, maintain cleanliness of work area, have phone etiquette, assist with salad bar duties when 'needed, comply to all rules and regulation set forth by Shoney's.Essential Job Functions:Visual, auditory, hand dexterity, full body mobility, basic reading, coordination, friendly smile, able to follow instructions, must be able to lift up to 20 Ibs., basic math skills, hand/eye coordination, must be able to communicate with customers, must have good eye contact, must be able to keep a fast pace for a period of time, must be able to read, must be able to follow instructions, must be able to enter customers order, must be able to balance a tray of food/drinks, must be able to do assigned side work, must be able to use cleaning supplies, must be able to satisfy customers dining needs.Expected Hours Per Week:Range: 20 – 40 HoursREQUIREMENTSAuthorized to work in the United States.Resume RequiredABOUT THE COMPANYShoney’s of Knoxville, Inc. is an employee-owned company that operates 18 restaurants in 10 East Tennessee counties, opening the first franchise in 1962.
