The hourly pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00./ppThe work hours for this position are approximately 7:00 am - 4:30 pm, Mon-Fri./ph3Key Purpose/h3ulliTo drive a delivery vehicle for the purpose of delivering prepared foods from production kitchen to various sites following a predetermined schedule/liliLoad and unload containers, hot carts and utensils and make proper distribution/liliMaintains product rotation, product labeling and cleanliness of walk-ins and food storages areas/li/ulh3Success Criteria/h3ulliMust be able to work in hot and cold environments/liliWork with the Executive Chef, FOH Manager, and Catering Manager on a variety of projects/liliWork with on-site porters on storerooms and delivery of food/liliWork with pantry supervisors on remote pantry product deliveries/li/ulh3Ideal Candidate Experience/h3ulliMust be able to use standard kitchen equipment correctly and safely. Chefs knives, Convection ovens, meat and cheese slicing machines, steamers, mandolins, grills, and broilers/liliKnowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for food preparation/liliMinimum experience in catering and/or events of 1 year/liliMust have knowledge of standard catering presentation techniques/liliAbility to use basic computer programs for inputting and organizing data and menus/liliExperience with Microsoft Office and Google programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)/liliPossess current SERV Safe or Food Handler certification or the ability to be certified immediately after hired/liliThis role requires a valid Drivers License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, as operating a company vehicle is an essential responsibility in this position./li/ulh3Key Accountabilities/h3ulliDay to day support of kitchen, front of the house, and pantry deliveries/liliPerform daily, on-time deliveries/liliClean and maintain delivery trucks (interior and exterior) daily/liliMaintain maintenance records and delivery log documentation/liliPerform pickup and drop-off of product inventory/liliClean and safe work area/liliWorkplace Safety guidelines, policies, and SOPs are followed daily/liliFood Safety guidelines, policies, and SOPs are followed daily/liliHACCP guidelines, policies, and SOPs are followed daily/liliAll internal audit guidelines, policies, and SOPs are followed daily Physical Demands Work Environment/liliWork up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks/liliMust be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs/liliCome to work properly dressed according to the dress code/liliEmployee must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods/liliRequires the ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods/liliRequires the ability to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials/liliRequires the ability to stoop, kneel, bend and reach/li/ulpLift a minimum of 25 pounds/ppWork on their feet 8 hours per day excluding breaks/ppWork under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods/ppMust be able to use a computer keyboard for up to 2 hours continuously/ppDeliver hot and cold food to on-campus sites using carts and vans/ppUse proper lifting skills when handling stock/ppLoad and push a cart a short distance/ppHSEQ Compliance: All employees must adhere to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
