Training Specialist

Responsibilities Oversee, coordinate, teach, coach, and present training to associates from the retail areas of the bank Conduct training in one-to-one, virtual, and group settings Follow up and develop learning aids and ongoing development programs Evaluate classroom associates and identify knowledge discrepancies Partner with the Learning Manager to support operational training needs Recommend and influence changes to training procedures Deploy enterprise learning solutions to drive knowledge transfer and business impact Present training materials in instructor‑led and virtual forums Monitor and report on training program effectiveness Organize role‑specific training sessions and ensure appropriate knowledge transfer Oversee attendance and report discrepancies to the Learning Manager Complete classroom documentation and submit associate tracking reports within 5 business days Ensure student competency requirements are met in each class Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities Requirements Ability to read and interpret procedure manuals, business correspondence, journals, and government regulations Ability to effectively present information in one-to-one and small group situations Excellent planning, organizational, and decision‑making skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) Proficiency in Microsoft presentation software Good knowledge of training and teaching methods Excellent time management skills Extensive classroom teaching and travel required Ability to stand for long periods of time 1–3 years of banking experience focused in the retail area required Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in training and development within the banking sector, focusing on effective knowledge transfer and operational training needs.
