Overview
Registered Nurse – ER in Templeton, California. This travel assignment starts on 11/02/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,143 to $2,331. Shifts are 3x12-hour nights. The role takes place in a hospital setting as a travel - temporary assignment. RN II-ER (CNA) provides nursing care, including triage, treatment and discharge care for Emergency Department patients, from newborns to geriatrics; this position is represented by CNA.

Responsibilities
- Triage and provide initial assessment for Emergency Department patients across the full age spectrum, from newborns to geriatrics.
- Administer medications and nursing interventions per physician orders; monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
- Deliver treatment and discharge planning; educate patients and families as part of the discharge process.
- Collaborate with CNAs and interdisciplinary ED team to ensure safe, efficient patient care and throughput.
- Document care accurately in the medical record and assist with procedures as needed.
- Demonstrate clinical judgment in high-acuity situations and participate in rapid response to emergent events.

Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Nursing degree from an accredited program
- 1+ year of ER or acute care experience preferred
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced ED
- Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment
