Orthopaedic Surgeon

Well established and growing multi-specialty private (physician-owned) practice in Northern New Jersey is seeking a full-time Orthopaedic Surgeon preferably with fellowship training in either Hand & Upper Extremity or Foot & Ankle to join our team. A successful candidate for this position will be board certified/eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and will have completed an Orthopaedic Hand Surgery or Foot & Ankle Fellowship. The candidate should also be comfortable treating general orthopedic injuries and conditions as would present in outpatient office setting. Our providers perform surgeries predominantly at our own partner-owned Ambulatory Surgical Center as well as very supportive local hospitals in the region. Orthopedic ER call is optional for this position and general practice call is shared/rotated among the group of physicians. We currently have a senior orthopaedic surgeon who has been in the community for several years, with an overflowing patient population. We would expect the incoming surgeon to assist in continuing to grow our orthopaedic practice. This may include meeting other local primary care docs and/or other referral sources. The practice will provide support in facilitating this growth.
