About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its Executive Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all financial activities, including accounting talent management, financial reporting, and cross-functional team leadership. This role demands a strategic leader who can ensure the accuracy and integrity of consolidated financial reporting, build strong internal controls, and support the company's financial strategy across a multi-organizational structure. The CFO will also be involved in budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategy, and margin optimization, and will partner with the President/CEO and executive team on long-range planning. Applicants for the CFO position at the company must have a Master's degree in business administration, accounting, or finance, with a preference for a CPA. A minimum of 10 years' of progressive financial, operational, and strategic experience is required, along with a proven track record of serving as a CFO and working with a Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing financials for large federal contracting and commercial businesses, and a background in building and leading finance and accounting teams. Experience with federal contracting compliance, particularly FAR/CAS, and a strong understanding of audit readiness for DCAA/IRS reviews, is essential. The role also involves managing cash flow, banking relationships, and liquidity, and contributing to Board and shareholder initiatives.
