Monarch Investment & Management Group is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team at Canyon Lake Apartments, a 109-unit property located in Rapid City. If you're hands-on, reliable, and take pride in fixing things the right way the first time—this is your opportunity to step into a stable, long-term career with a company that invests in you.
What You'll Get:
- $22.00–$24.00/HR DOE
- Up to $3,000 annually in quarterly bonuses
- On-call bonus structure up to $100/week

- 80 hours during Year 1
- 120 hours during Years 2–4

What You'll Be Doing:
- Complete service requests quickly and efficiently
- Turn/make-ready apartment units for new residents
- Perform general maintenance: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances
- Interior/exterior painting and repairs
- Maintain grounds and common areas
- Conduct preventative maintenance
- Keep shop and work areas clean and organized
- Participate in rotating on-call schedule (1 week every 4 weeks)
What We're Looking For:
- 1+ year of apartment or general maintenance experience
- HVAC-Boiler/EPA/CPO certifications preferred
- Working knowledge of:
- Plumbing (including copper pipe work)
- Electrical repairs (outlets, fixtures, switches)
- Appliance repair
- Carpentry, drywall & painting
- Water heater systems (gas & electric)
- Valid driver's license & reliable transportation required
- Availability: Monday–Friday, 8AM – 5PM + on-call rotation
